Seriously though, Maduro knows that if he can scrape enough money together for Trump and make the right deal, Trump will send him back home in a heartbeat. I'm not kidding about this.

@lauren Maybe but that seems less likely.

We saw at the very beginning of Trump’s presidency, with Greenland for example, he is apparently just pointing at places on maps and yelling “Mine!” like a demented toddler. He is not acting like he needs to “bargain” anymore.
