I love #Inkscape, and it's been an extremely helpful tool for me over many years! But the way it handles text and switching fonts just drives me a bit crazy. Why does it switch to another font so often?

Now I went trough all the steps I normally have to to actually switch from one weight of a font to another weight of the same font (click on the font (it does not automatically select the font the text is already using), it defaults to having normal weight selected even though that's not what's used so I click on another weight and then click on normal), but instead of changing the weight it just switched the text box from left adjusted to center adjusted. Why? 😞
