Hace unos días estaba aburrido y decidí ponerme a trabajar en esto. 🌄🇨🇺
En la representación se aprecia parte de la Sierra del Rosario, una zona de gran valor natural.

Want Inkscape's Multi-page to work in web browsers (and other tools)?
Well my work today has been on moving our inkscape:page element to the SVG standard "view" element. Already supported in web browsers and hopefully supported someday in SVG viewers that use librsvg (are you interested @federicomena ?)
This will need testing and a migration for older data too. But I like more standards compliant files and less custom stuff in inkscape's svg.

Sometimes people make Inkscape tutorials that are really good, but no one sees them. Today's hidden gem is this glass effect tutorial by Logo Champion on yt:

Converting #inkscape tests that link against the whole binary to unit tests that link just the needed bits and mock the rest.
The memory sanitizer is so nice you guys! Inkscape has been transitionally so big with so many historical memory problems that it's felt like drinking from a fire engine hose. But this, it just fails and tells you exactly where the double free or etc was.
Thanks S-Rafael! Awesome test infrastructure.

Is there an Inkscape user who has and uses a drawing tablet device available to test some fixes for 1.5?
What we need is some testing on the smoothness of the drawing, it should be better than 1.4 and hopefully not break.
Downloads are here: https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/merge_requests/7427 to get them you click on the green checkmark and click your OS, and download the AppImage, 7z (windows) or dmg.
Comment on the linked page if you can. Here is ok too.
Thanks!

I'm ankle deep in rewriting the Inkscape engine and I'm at that stage where I have successfully disassembled the engine and here it lies around me in little pieces. I keep all the little nubbins in a teapot as is traditional but I enter the long dark teatime of the soul where you wonder if it will ever work again. 😅

So, I've not made a video this week as it seemed a bit repetitive to say "still working on it". 😬

I have been pushing for #Inkscape to remove/decommission it's Twitter account. But I didn't want to do it unilaterally, bossing people about, but through reasoned policy that can be applied to other captured banana-pants social media platforms.
So I've drafted a policy, which I'm interested in having more people look at as it's going to be one of those gnarly things that's important to get right:
What do you think? Worth while approach for a #foss project?
