@impermanen_ The Santa Barbara zoo has a colony of river otters. The keepers decided that the otters were getting too fat, so they reduced the fish ration. The otters put up such a crying, whining protest that the zoo had to put up a sign telling the public that contrary to the opinion of the otters, the otters were NOT starving. They were just on a diet. Neither the otters nor the public were persuaded.

@impermanen_ Hope you've learned your lesson. No credit for early feeding. We've learned that a half hour late is a crime against nature, but an hour late is greated as liberation.

@impermanen_ My very loudest goat is in heat today and has been yelling her head off since it was full dark, so my neighbours probably have similar thoughts about my goat-feeding habits.
