Thema Kinderschutz verfehlt, setzen. Es wäre lächerlich einfach, ein geblocktes Bild zu modifizieren.

@echo_pbreyer Es gab mal irgendwo eine gute Beschreibung, wie das Fingerprinting von Bildern funktioniert... in den Kommentaren steht mehrfach, daß das ja so einfach zu umgehen sei, aber der Fingerprint ist kein Hash und tatsächlich gar nicht sooo einfach zu umgehen.
Irgendwas mit Farbkombinationen, Farbhäufigkeiten... so daß auch geänderte Rahmen oder Skalierung nicht helfen, um solchen Matches zu entgehen.

@echo_pbreyer IWF? Werden die nicht von Thorn gesponsert? Also genau von *den* Lobbyisten, die uns das Ganze eingebrockt haben, indem sie die EU Kommission zur Chatkontrolle "hinberaten" haben.
@echo_pbreyer in meinen Augen nur Buzzwords im Gegenargumente im Keim zu Ersticken. Den Upload-Filter ist dsmals auch im Kleid der Urheberrechte präsentiert worden.
man muss sich wohl von der Vorstellung lösen, daß das ganze einen hilfreichen Sinn ergeben soll. es geht um Kontrolle. Und Kutchers Gewinne.

Child protection objective: Failed. It would be ridiculously easy to modify a blocked image and re-send.

@echo_pbreyer The filter sounds fine in theory, it's just a hash database or whatever that is checked against the image - but that doesn't always work, if the image is modified in any way.
So CSAM can't really be prevented this way. I think it's still more efficient to just infiltrate groups on Telegram and on other platforms and set honey traps to catch these people, it's proven to work, but it takes time and resources, but it's much more reliable and not privacy invasive for the average Joe.
@echo_pbreyer Besides that it's easy to circumvent, it still is a privacy breach (they still want to look over our shoulders what we want to send) and it's still a security breach on the devices.
So,still an absolute NO!
@echo_pbreyer So still client-side scanning, just for known images, not AI? So it’s still using my device to spy on me, just with less chance of false-positives. But now they have client-side scanning, and can dial up the controls over time until they get what they wanted in the first place
