@Tutanota KeepassXC because it's offline with enough features. And it has automatic password capture with the browser extension. Synced with Syncthing.

Also the most important part, vault encryption is missing.
Which last pass failed to properly do

@Tutanota I use NordPass. Yeah I know, not on the list not open source but it's the one with the best encryption. It hasn't been breached like LastPass and it's not based in a 5-eye country like 1Password or Bitwarden. Not the best recommendation you are doing here @Tutanota

@Tutanota

Yes, password managers are important, and so is digital sovereignty — especially in these troubling times. That’s why it’s crucial to choose a password manager that operates outside the jurisdictions of the United States, Russia, and China

@Tutanota I use KeepassXC with Dropbox for sync at the moment. If I forgot to put a password in Keepass, I take the time to reset it via a new generated in keepassxc to improve security.

@Tutanota Huge phan of Keepass here. I don't trust strangers' storage with my passwords. The version of Keepass I use has no internet connectivity. That implies keeping my password file backed up myself.

Also necessary: Iron Discipline putting passwords into the manager. I have a specific ritual which never varies when asked to create a password. So far, so good.

@Tutanota this comparison looks like LastPass is as good as Bitwarden and actually better than KeePassXC

Just take a look at all those breaches https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LastPass

This looks like a misinformation

@Tutanota Being on KeepassXC for ages. Using it in combo with syncthing removes the need for cloud sync. You have your password solely on your discs only.
keepassdx is the app for Android - this is missing in your comparison.
