It's a day that's close to my heart as a linguist. Today reminds us of the richness and diversity that languages bring to our personal and professional lives.
With 200+ languages spoken & signed across Europe, each one opens doors to new cultures, new perspectives, and new opportunities. In a world where cross-border collaboration is essential, linguistic diversity is not just cultural heritage; it's essential to innovation and growth.

More than half of Europeans can speak at least two languages!
馃挰 I'd love to hear: What is your favorite word or phrase in another #language? Two of mine are:
馃嚜馃嚫 Ha pasado un 谩ngel (an angel passed by), used to describe a sudden silence in conversation
馃嚛馃嚜 Verschlimmbessern (verschlimmern+verbessern): to make something worse in a failed attempt to improve it
