@deliri Nein. In Österreich wird Überwachung nur bei bestimmten Verdächtigen erlaubt. Die Chatkontrolle soll dagegen jedwede Nachrichten auch unverdächtiger Bürger scannen.

Innenminister #Karner ist der größte Dollfuß-Fan des Landes und hat darum wohl ein persönliches Problem mit der deutschen Ursula. Während man ihre EU-Chatkontrolle ablehnte, will man diese in Eigenregie, unter der Leitung Karners, als ein rein nationales Gesetz einführen.
Propaganda für eine zukünftige "Chatkontrolle made in Austria" wurde dann irgendwann vermischt mit dem alten Entwurf für eine Messenger-Überwachung. Und dieser alte...

@echo_pbreyer sorry, my mind was far faster than my fingers, it was supposed to be that they adopted a law that prevented encryption breaking/backdoors, I'm quite sure I saw a article about it in YLE, but not able to find it at the moment
