The FreeDOS Project

My favorite DOS spreadsheet was As-Easy-As. It's probably still my most-favorite spreadsheet ever. 馃

I recently interviewed As-Easy-As coauthor Paris Karahalios about how the spreadsheet got started (analyzing Chernobyl data!) and growing TRIUS Inc.

It's a long interview, but a super interesting one with loads of detail! 馃憤

@freedosproject 鈽濓笍 In the early 1990s I checked out the popular As-Easy-As shareware spreadsheet program for MS-DOS but didn't know much about its origins. This interview with one of the creators tells the fascinating story of As-Easy-As, its focus on science and engineering, and the software house that produced it. A story that crossed with global history.
