It's probably a long shot, but do any of you know what a trebuchet is?

@catsalad ‘Tis for flinging, no?
we used to make them in the office from pencils, rubber bands, and large erasers as the payload.
@catsalad it’s from those song lyrics,
“Voulez-vous trebuchet avec moi, c’est soi”
@catsalad The real question is, how do we combine one with a guillotine?
@catsalad Of course, it's a musical instrument.
@catsalad wasn't that a unit in Civilization?
@catsalad It’s that old east German car!
"It's a machine that can put a stop to unruly peasants. Simply order your men-at-arms to load a few of your most unruly peasants into the sling, release, and if your men have aimed it right, you can fertilise your fields from a quarter of a mile away.
Your surviving peasants are guaranteed to be ruly for years to come."
- Baron Twattling, murdered by his own peasants in the Year of the Half-Arsed Wombat.
@catsalad Trebuchet: ‚tres‘ - three and ‚bouche‘ - mouth, so it means ‚three mouths‘. It is a emoji :-))) which for some reason was very popular in the 12/13th century in Europe and led to the great unicode schism of 1273. Historians are not sure what it means.
@catsalad
