@liaizon couldn't you just publish it as a userstyle? the editing ui is made for editing stylesheets (though it's debatable whether it's actually good), and publishing it means you could reuse it wherever you can fetch the stylesheet (for example with "stylish" in firefox)
@computersandblues there are lots of ways it could be done, I don't think userstyles are the most userfriendly, they appeal to super nerds and then you have to install them in each browser you use etc
how it's going
I know that Elon Musk gets a lot of hate on here, but hear me out.
I think we could hate him more. We have the capacity, we all just need to put in a little more effort.
@lowqualityfacts I stopped hating years ago. Saves me a lot of time.

i read both and this article is essentially what was going through my head while i read the manifesto. it reads more like a sales pitch than a manifesto.
'my 8-yr-old can code and make videos in a single night with her AI agent' is just 'my eight year old can paint picasso with the help of a grand master which i pay for' for the 21st century

sarah bond is behaving remarkably similar to a "woman" who DMed me earlier. i was suspicious of her, but seeing the similarity in behavior, now, I am now certain they are both robots. asked where I lived. said she lived nearby. didn't say anything of substance.
(I blocked Sarah Bond)
I sometimes think I am a cool young punk rebel rockstar, not realising I look like a 50 year old in business attire and shiny shoes. I assume my people will sense me, but instead a younger cooler person just offered me their seat on the bus. I AM NOT IN DANGER OF A FALL. Bloody whippersnappers and rapscallions. Why don't they get a job and stop hanging around on the streets.
@TheBreadmonkey Ah, young people today. Always complaining about younger people.
🛑 This is why we have argued for a temporary sales ban on these glasses in Norway, while giving policy and decision makers time to consider a tech-neutral approach to counter these challenges. I hope more countries and the EU will consider the same. The precautionary principle matters here: democratic red lines should be drawn before intrusive technologies become normalised, not afterwards. /end
The central problem with Chief Justice Roberts’s Friday afternoon “administrative” stay in the White House ballroom case isn’t just the lack of any clear standards for such relief; it’s that it’s hard to see how, *whatever* the standards are, this case could satisfy them.

AliExpress Silent WebAudio Fingerprinting Uses Bluetooth Hardware
AliExpress uses hidden WebAudio graphs to fingerprint devices, which blocks Bluetooth multipoint headphones from switching audio sources. The tracking relies on obfuscated scripts that maintain an active audio pipeline even when muted.
**If you shop on AliExpress and your Bluetooth headphones stop switching between devices, this is caused by hidden tracking scripts on the site, not broken hardware. Install uBlock Origin and add filter rules to block `collina.js` and `fireyejs.js` on aliexpress.com, then close all open AliExpress tabs and reload the site for the fix to take effect.**

The glasses themselves are highly problematic, even without that tech embedded, as the glasses allow for “frictionless” capture of photos, video and audio. Sadly, we are already hearing countless stories of people being filmed without their knowledge or consent, harassed and being outed online. Lives are ruined in the process, and we risk a massive chilling effect on the freedom of movement, freedom of expression and the right to privacy, as these devices are normalised in society. 3/
Is it more important that publications post on the Fediverse, or that they don't post on X?
The Renault 4, or R4 in short (and 4L, pronounced "Quatrelle" in French French pronunciation: [ˈkatʁɛl]), is an economy car built by the French company Renault from 1961 to 1994.[6] Although it was first marketed as a short estate or wagon, its minimal rear body length and its top-hinged, single-piece tail-gate means that it is now recognised as the world's first mass-produced hatchback.[7]...

😰 Earlier this year, the New York Times exposed how Meta planned to roll out face recognition technology in a “dynamic political environment”, when they thought everyone would look the other way. Then WIRED exposed how Meta had made the tech "nearly ready to go" in the software of the app itself. Swedish news outlet Svenska Dagbladet (SvD) and Göteborgs-Posten exposed how employees had access and was exposed to sensitive videos by users. 2/
Sorry, the app encountered an unexpected error
