@scottmichaud It doesn't even need a bully. I've seen people who, without boundaries, have others (like family) unconsciously place more and more burden on them. But yes, those people also attract bullies

As a note: The big part of the context of this was politics, and how a lot of it boils down to people taking pies in the face for someone who will do very little in return except make them take more pies in the face.
Person-on-person bullying gets a bit more difficult because "standing up to them" can be challenging.
But, yeah, there's a lot of overlap.
