everyone living in the UK needs to listen to this episode of @parismarx 'tech won't save us'. westminster has been completely seduced by AI & is already in danger of tipping into full-on AI psychosis as they use it to write laws & speeches, to undermine civil servants & to develop policy (was it implemented in the creation of digital ID?) - all without public consultation/oversight. when the subscription bills start to roll in, we'll all pay.

Moi ce qui me fait peur, ce sont les gens NOYÉS de notifications.
Et la plupart des gens ne savent même pas d'où elles viennent, encore moins comment les désactiver. Pour la plupart ça ne leur vient même pas à l'esprit, pour eux se faire pourrir de notifs 24h/24 par les applis, c'est un fonctionnement normal.
Des fois y'a des gens qui m'appellent à l'aide. Je leur montre comment faire. C'est clairement un gain de sérénité.

@sebsauvage @Le_M_Poireau Tout à fait, mais tout est fait par les constructeurs et les éditeurs de services en ligne pour que les gens deviennent dépendants de leurs appareils et de ces services en ligne.

* the tells of actual AI slop will be more widely known and random accusations will decline
* something else will be fashionable to advise people to avoid in writing: ignore that too.
