Countryside Chill

The smell of farms and the sounds of gentle mooing were the things that soothed him best! Add this calming scene of a big monster relaxing with cows to your walls. Each print is signed and whispered to by the artist.

Big Bertha, the cow that drank whiskey, lived until she was 48, broke two Guinness world records and raised £60,000 for cancer research. Big Bertha was born in County Kerry, Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day 1945 and lived until 1993, which is exceptionally old for a cow. #globalmuseum #cows #Ireland

@ajroach42

It started with a goodbye joke from the nineties - If I don't see you in the future I'll see you in the pasture.

Then I got carried away.

Do you know any public domain cow movies?

Now I can't stop.

Thanks

@hairylarry I don't understand what's going on, but I won't argue with it.

@arstechnica what surprises me is that this hasn't been picked up before.

If I go search for 'cow using stick' I can find at least two other videos other videos

one on reddit from 2024: https://www.reddit.com/r/Cows/comments/1bj08z4/he_likes_to_itch_his_tummy_with_sticks/

and one from 6 years ago of a bull using a stick to scratch 'an itch' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfY4rpwAQfQ

bit blunt to say perhaps, but the biggest discovery to me is that humans are capable of recognizing and acknowledging intelligence in anything other than themselves 😅
