Once again, I find myself begging FOSS folks to recognize that open source is, by construction, a political movement. The onus is thus on us to make sure that our politics are in keeping with our actual values.
We cannot, especially during a global resurgence of fascism, act like it's possible to be apolitical.

I guess for now I won't modify the code directly because never played with lua and that means I will need to redo the process at each update 😜 I know myself and won't do it in the long run haha
I can't put an HAProxy, I've already tried with my weird setup and it broke a lot of things (it would also require a lot of down time)

@PhieLaidMignon It's Roto, not Lua (though, there is a Lua version of the built-in script), and... I have good news! You don't necessarily need to update the script!
You can modify it once, and keep using it as long as you're staying on iocaine 3.x.
I don't plan on having frequent releases on the 3.x branch (there were 3 months between 3.5.0 and 3.5.1, and if there's gonna be a 3.5.2, I won't expect it sooner than Christmas, and the modifications to the built-in scripts are likely to be minimal).
...and I can give you a patch that lets you do this, and update it whenever I release a new iocaine version. Heck, if I write such a patch, I'll just apply it to the iocaine-3.x branch and release 3.5.2 / 3.6.0 with it. =)
Y'know... this is a small enough change that I can likely knock it out after bedtime stories for the kids.

What compels you to abandon OpenAI shares worth billions? Something undermining the vesting terms? Bad math? Damnable leadership culture? Evil?
Even a year or two of vesting should let you start a VC or PE firm.
Would it ruin your good name if you stayed too long? Or find you on a witness stand? at a defense table?

When a company goes public there are legal liabilities attached to executives misleading investors. And these can include jail time. If executives are saying that they're not willing to sign off on the claims made prior to the IPO, that suggests they're worried that a future SEC that starts working again might prosecute. I suspect these people have already made enough money in salary that there's no way they'd risk jail time to make more.
The ones that are staying either think the investor disclosures are defensible or don't expect to get caught.

If you're writing a story about police abusing Flock access to stalk current/former/potential partners, I'm begging you to please follow up on the consequences these cops face for getting caught, because a lot of the time it's barely more than a slap on the wrist.
The deputy resigned after an investigation uncovered an alleged history of racism, stalking, and sexual abuse.
