@hipsterelectron The implementation of the DNT flag was fundamentally a bad idea when it relied on the good will of trackers to honor it. Opt-in it gave trackers high quality fingerprinting information, opt-out it was just ignored and wasted bandwidth.

Playing Team Fortress 2 at 180Hz is honestly extremely trippy like what do you mean I can shake my camera around to look at multiple places at once and what do you mean things are still very clearly visible??! (I'm not sure I can explain this, it's just weird)

A few weeks ago, I went into a design furniture store in Denmark to buy a garden furniture set. We had a great conversation about their beautiful products right until the point where I realized they conditioned their price on the registration of my data, or I would have to pay 40 percent more.
So I did what I always do (picture 1).

I think FDB Møbler should reconsider its business methods, when I can only shop with you if I am registered in a customer club, so that you can store data about me, while other stores can easily do business with me, without this completely unnecessary registration and monitoring. That can't possibly be good for your turnover.

- Quad9 se plie aux ayants-droits et bloque des sites de partage.
- par contre Quad9 n'a pas de DNS bloqueur de trackers et publicité.

Anyway it's been years since I found out that you can't do long threads on mastodon and expect anyone to see them but here I am still posting long threads on mastodon like a right plonker hoping that one day someone'll fix that bug or I'll figure out how to migrate all my posts to some other fedi software that has working threads
