Oh, we had this discussion at work last week when someone asked why I want to host a dadabase on premise and not in the MS Azure cloud. And I replied that the service gets disrupted if Microsoft cuts their service to us by requirement of the gouvernment (I might have used the term "Orange Shitshow" instead).

The reply was: "If Microsoft cuts its services to us, nothing will work anymore anyway."

And I followed up: "That's true for your services. Mine all run on linux and on prem for a reason."
