Here are better images from the ProQuest version of the Sanborn via San Francisco public library card access. I realized that all of the long buildings are marked "8F", I wonder if maybe it meant eight family units, since the one closest to that large ink dot and to the word "Blvd" has eight unit numbers of which the one farthest to the right is 67.

Everything we want to grow the industry comes from the podcast app. Better metrics and better consumption all starts in a podcast app.

Yet, the podcast app earns nothing from the industry.

That has to change.

@benpate @scottjenson @thisismissem I wasn't just being silly when I riffed on Anuj's People Not Platforms with Build Purpose Not Products last year. The phrase was off the cuff, but the Futures & Systems stuff I was already chasing was very heavily about understanding your functional outcome - the purpose of a system, the need it meets - first, and keeping guardrails up *hard* as you work backwards to your building blocks.

Unfortunately and even here, we've mostly not done that.
