My best friend Berto taught me the value of going outside and singing to the trees.
Berto was kicked not quite to death by some gang-bangers, and he does not remember how close we were. He does not remember me at all, to be honest.
We once got in a fist-fight at a party, mad violence, then ten minutes later laughing and hugging.
But I still go outside sometimes, down in the yard, or up on the second-floor deck, and sing to the trees.
They never say, exactly, but I think they like it.

I need to do something for flexibility as well
Enjoyed tai chi and yoga back in the day. Don't have the patience for it now, so going for basic movement and "standing upright" pose. Will see if I can work up to something where I have to pay attention

I tried to keep running after Covid but it didn't go well. Short walks and a bit of outdoor work has been okay if I'm careful, but it's so easy to do too much and the penalty can be days or weeks of recovery.
I'd love to start running again, but that's a long way off, if ever. I'd have to start with some sort of "Couch to 500 metres" program 😉

Demande d'aide d'hébergements ponctuels à Paris
Bonjour! Une amie à moi fait son mémoire et a besoin d'aller régulièrement à Paris.
Problème: elle n'est pas de nationalité française et le crous refuse de lui allouer un chambre.
Elle monte à Paris les jeudi pour repartir les samedi.
Elle ne voudrait pas trop embêter les gens et se dit qu'avoir plusieurs points endroits où aller serait mieux.
Aussi très important: pas d'endroits queerphobe, transphobe ou xenophbe.
