Anyone know what to do with 20 lbs of green tomatoes? I guess we can still broil them and turn them into green salsa. We're supposed to get a freeze overnight soon, and so furiously picked the unripe fruit. But now I'm looking at this pile thinking, this is nuts.
The federal dems in power right now have the kind of clueless blindness you only find in greek myths about to end badly
@catsalad Kitty would like to say "Happy Birthday and Fediversary"❤
October 28, 2025, will be remembered as one of the saddest episodes in recent Brazilian history, especially for residents of the state of Rio de Janeiro. At least 121 people were killed in the deadliest police operation in the country’s history.
Looks like Elon's vibe-coding idiots managed to screw up the last remaining good thing from Twitter: the search syntax. Specifically, parentheses. You can no longer build complicated search expressions with parentheses.
Now would be a great time for Mastodon to implement full boolean search syntax.
@mastodonmigration They have showed what turncoats they are for nothing. The house will not open, because of the Epstein files.
“Senate is poised to take the first steps to end 40-day shutdown”
“The deal would also include a future vote on the health care subsidies, which would not have a guaranteed outcome…”
And it’s just nuts to assume House Speaker Johnson would even SCHEDULE a vote on extending the ACA tax credits. Why would he?
Senate Democrats appear to be getting next to nothing in this “deal”.
And Trump now knows if he applies enough pressure, Dems will cave.
This looks awful.

Think that the Dems who voted with Republicans were Durbin, Rosen, Cortez Masto, King, Kaine, Fetterman, Shaheen, Hassan.
Here we see a cat dividing my mitosis
I really wonder how much of a crimp is gonna be put into the current golden age of cheap computing devices over the next 2 years or so due to AI assholes vacuuming up every component they can get their hands on ... all fabs are now maxed out and there are shortages of RAm, NAND, and HDDs
Apparently the Senate will not complete work tonight toward ending the shutdown even with the cooperation of some traitorous Democratic senators who should begin planning alternative jobs outside of politics. This means that tomorrow (remember, Tuesday is a holiday) is THE DAY to tells ALL of these senators how you feel about their abandoning the millions of Americans who need health care, not a useless health care vote. MAKE SURE THEY HEAR FROM YOU!
I must strongly disagree that that looks like an “antique book.” #Monsterdon
@soop I don't think anyone is as harmed by my discussion of political topics they find uninteresting as I would be harmed by being required to self-censor them.
i did another one from the book
