... insisting that others can't find uses in these tools has reached a religious fervor that is absolutely ridiculous. Yes, there are AI hype bros who are just as bad. But the "there are no useful ways to use these things" talk is just bonkers, and clearly wrong for many people.
You may not have uses for the tools. So don't use them. I'm not trying to sell anyone on using anything. But I have used them to help myself and will continue to do so, and when people say that's impossible, they are asking me to lie to them. I'd rather just block you than lie.
If I find a tool to be useful for myself, that has nothing to do with "drinking koolaid," Dan. The only "koolaid" drinking I see seems to come from people who insist that those who do find the tools to be useful are somehow lying or stupid. Not saying you need to use or like the tools. But...

like, here’s the thing right
it might have been a random costume and somehow he didn’t realize how it looked
he might have just been waving weirdly and someone caught it at the wrong moment, while he was dressed in a costume that looked like a nazi propaganda poster
he might have just innocently figured a haircut that’s been famous since at least 2011 for being a nazi haircut looked nice
and at that point you’re firmly in “musk didn’t do a nazi salute” territory too. at this point it’s a pattern of behavior. we know damn well musk did a nazi salute because we have eyes, and because he has a long history of doing nazi shit both before and after the salute.
macklemore keeps doing nazi shit. it’s not as bad as musk’s nazi shit, as far as I know. you should still keep him and his music the fuck out of your spaces.
and here’s his former signature haircut! and a picture of Richard Spencer, the neo-nazi, with the exact same signature haircut. also some hitler youth, who were required to adopt this as their signature haircut, which is where Spencer got it from.
so here’s the costume he supposedly randomly picked the day his career ended, and here’s the nazi propaganda poster it resembles, down to the coat
also the quick heil hitler he popped, of course
you know, I think we can do better on pro-Palestinian figures than the guy whose career ended when he came onto stage dressed like a Nazi propaganda poster and popped a quick Hitler salute, who was last in the spotlight when he tried to make the Richard Spencer/nazi youth haircut his signature style and had to apologize for it
it is fucked that the Israeli state weaponized “antisemite” against everyone who’s anti-genocide, but I’m pretty sure the Thrift Shop guy is a genuine antisemite and the type of nazi you don’t want in your movement
anyway I’m gonna post some pictures of this shit under a CW because my memory was that his career ended due to a wig and a beard and it’s uhhh much worse than that

found an old wald front wheel bike basket in a dumpster and just installed it on my oldest bike, and now I feel I’m on trend in PDX
@seachanger we found some Wald side baskets for the elder child at Habitat a few months ago and they are indeed the business
No ragrats
@catsalad I have, in the past, watched Goobie steal a piece of meat even though I was making attempts to stop her from doing such crime. She always gets away with it too.
