*Anyway*, good morning, it's Wednesday.
You look terrific.
What say we go make out for a little bit before work?

@somebody we should chat. i completely revised the chomsky hierarchy so that it corresponds to literal complexity classes from linear/regular => stack/quadratic => undecidable (this includes dual stacks). one thing that's important to remember is that fuckboys constantly steal from real scientists.
it is awful that we lost the potential to make real scientific progress in the past half-century but you are certainly not flawed or misguided to have identified that there was a real potential that these losers squandered
@somebody unsure if this helps. personally i am incredibly glad that LLMs literally don't do recurrence at all because i care SO MUCH about data integrity i think there is a path to taking advantage of that for unstructured finite-length byte streams. the reason i was thinking about this at all was because i have never seen a literal symmetric cipher proposed that makes use of global permutations
Just loaded CoPilot Navigator and it is a nightmare.
Just loaded Sygic GPS and it seems pretty good. Looks like some features require upgrade to a premium service, but going to give this one a try tomorrow. Literature says it has traffic and AA support, so we will see.

I feel like there are others here who would appreciate a petition to repeal the fast track law that was fast-tracked into our lives.

Howdy! I'm E and I'm excited to be here.
I have a lot of interests that vary by the day: games, movies, gardening, music, swimming, birdwatching, books... Overall, I'm delighted to share what delights me and to hear what delights other people. I intend to post mostly about the little things that I'm enjoying, observing, or wondering about in my daily life.
I have 4 cats who will feature heavily here. I'm also a "step-mom" to my partner's wonderful dog, who will feature not-quite-as-heavily-but-pretty-close. I love all animals and will probably fave too many pictures of everyone's curious creatures.
I'm currently running a #Starfinder game with some of my best friends. It's the first game I've GMed and it is equal parts intimidating and incredibly fun. I'm very lucky to have the group that I do.
I am trying not to be so politically active in this space, but I am a staunch lefty. I believe in practicing antiracism, feminism, and class solidarity, for all. Ideally that won't need to come up too much, but I want to make it clear from the outset.
I look forward to connecting with folks and settling into this new space! Thank you @tgt <3
@tofuscramble Hello and welcome to the fediverse!
@Ale7626 credo che l'abbiano fatto / stiano facendo?

Great read by @markwyner and lots to learn about how to use alt text correctly and how screen readers work.

@hipsterelectron I get genuinely heartbroken that all anyone cares about is llms, which are just actual bullshit. my entire research path ended up being the zeta-1 and SDR path, which has an actual basis in reality, being biologically plausible and everything, and which were quickly relegated to the realm of anomaly detectors and which incidentally are part of a neurocomp path that totally disproves Pinker and company's idea that brains are specialized based on birth physical sex. I watched as what I thought was a beautiful attempt to understand the mind was not only trampled and defiled, but I realized that seeking that understanding could only ever be part of a ploy to rape and destroy the world, because if we hadn't been beaten out, we'd have simply given birth to a frankenstein's monster that would have been abused to death. it's all so sickening.
there were even thinkers in the early days of the effort who will forever be associated with this filth because of how it was exploited and turned into a grift. I will always be shattered, but I will always remember. human beings should probably not understand the mind because they can't without abusing it further. it's such a damned gut punch. pouring one out for pa-CLA forever. the minsky gang was always epstein gang
