@adamgreenfield I know! Not being at least bilingual is a big regret of mine.
"Brito argues in a letter demanding the center’s retraction that “the effect on the mind of the reader and viewer of the Statements that Defendants intended to impose is that the President of the United States knowingly deceived the American people, manipulated crime statistics for political advantage, exploited public fear, abused military and executive authority for an ulterior purpose, staged a sham law enforcement operation, and then lied about its success.”
So, it was accurate then? Okay..
@beardyke My DM IF FOLLOW-REQUEST is "I enjoyed interacting with you ("being mutuals with"..? that was my initial thought but I don't remember) but also you do/have been doing plenty of things with and that was a while ago so this could also just be an "oh! hi!" passing-by if you want it to be."
Remember https://botsin.space? Remember when bots were just some silly/funny thing that would spout nonsense lyrics to the Gaston song from Beauty and the Beast or whatever?

📺 Monsters of God. Reptiles freak me out, but I like the people at A24. Let’s see if I can handle this. Set in Florida, obviously, that’s another plus.
@maique Don't you know Florida is where all the crazy people live?
I still can't believe that Microsoft rebranded "Microsoft Visual Studio" to "Microsoft Visual Studio (Not Responding)"
over the years, the latest hour one would expect a package delivery went from 6 pm to 7 to 8 and then surprised me by going up to 9, and now in the last few weeks, my neighbors and I are getting packages delivered at 10 pm
on the one hand I like getting pakig, on the other, it seems clear the endgame here is a beleaguered young man ringing my doorbell at 11:59 pm so his manager can metricmax

Crazy - last night the whanau watch a film, 'Don't say good luck', my wife's pick. About a girl in a US highschool with performing ambitions & a dying mum, played by Melanie Lynsky. At one point, they mention visiting a place called 'Crane House'... & I told my family we had a place by that name in my home town in New Jersey, thinking it'd be funny if that's what they meant. My boy then looked up the movie... & informed me it was filmed in Montclair, NJ, the highschool I went to featuring large!
@adamgreenfield My grandfather spoke 8 languages. My mother spoke one, because “Canadians speak English.”
@fishsauce oof
@richcampbell given how secure SMS authentication, this is just as good 🤷♂️
@jorgen Not a lot of difference...
From 1959-1975, Laos was caught in the crosshairs of the American-led global crusade against communism during the Cold War. The war in Vietnam engulfed neighboring Cambodia and Laos. Many Lao, Vietnamese and Cambodian people alike were thus forcibly displaced often trading one war zone for another. One such person is May Sinoun, a 107-year-old Lao woman who was able to share her account.

As an open source dev, publishing a new project is always a source of stress.
Not because of adoption, but mainly because of feedback: things you did not see, or choices you got wrong.
That is why I often run polls, and why I change my mind when needed. Open source projects only live through you. I do not build for me, I build for us.
