@podfeet It's definitely not caused by WordPress core. First try to clean your local browser cache (or a different browser or incognito mode).
If that doesn't help try to disable plugins or switching themes to find out if there's a conflict. You can safely do that by using the Troubleshooting plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/troubleshooting/) so your visitors won't notice.
@JosKleverWebSupport Thanks for the ideas. I don't suspect plugins (because I haven't touched them lately) but I did change two things at the same time. I upgraded to WordPress 7.0.2 on the same day that I enabled some bot-battling tools in Cloudflare. I'm still tuning those filters to fix some image rendering problems (being blocked) so maybe that contributed to this problem? It's weird, though, that it heals and breaks and heals again.
La proposta della lega per le nuove banconote in euro della BCE
Climate bills are coming in: 153 houses destroyed by climate-fueled wildfires in the village of Le Porge, not far from Bordeaux.
@nazgul <3
We did a prototype and it would have been Keyboardio's next thing, but it never ended up happening. :/
@jesse I'm thinking maybe I should buy a spare. I'm pretty addicted to the typing. Then I can just leave one at my desk and one in my backpack.
The good news is that it's $60 cheaper to ship to Mexico. The bad news is I have no idea if it will arrive.:)
I'm writing my own crayon license to annoy corporate lawyers, it will be called "FAFOPL", and I am taking suggestions for clauses.
@pndc yeah. I grew up in the UK and while I appreciate your toot is accurate. It doesn't help me with knowing if red onions were grown in medieval Britain
Book contract signed with Princeton University Press. It's official!
Now I just have to finish writing a whole book from all my rants about satellite pollution in the next few months! No big deal...
@sundogplanets congrats. Doing much necessary work - it is appreciated!
How to Follow Your Heart
How many years does it take for something to become "the way it's always done" or "the way things are"?
I'm thinking about what I was told as a grad student 15-20 years ago about the "how the academic job market works." Today's reality doesn't match that. My grandfather's academic career (pre early 1980s) didn't match it either
I'm thinking about saving for college and how that was different for my parents vs me vs (someday) my kids
I'm thinking about what "winter" and "heat waves" look like

@mastodonmigration @rvstaveren Speaking to the last question, each Starship test flight so far has ended with it travelling at orbital velocity—just, on a trajectory with perigee below the surface, so that it won't stay in orbit by accident if an engine re-light fails. So it needs to slow down from current test flight speeds only. And higher orbits = slower orbital velocity (counter-intuitively).
Weight: we know it carried 20 Starlink V3 sats, exceeding a Falcon 9's maximum payload.
Interesting. Thanks for those details. Seems like the most positive outcome from yesterday is the ship reentry/landing performance.
@wrmsr how do you use JA4 and HAProxy? JA4 is new to me @IPngNetworks
@veganstraightedge fun research though, I’ve been meaning to do more classification of packages using https://github.com/ecosyste-ms/oss-taxonomy to aid discovery
