I waited a month before upgrading to #WordPress 7 (till 7.0.2) but I'm not happy at all about it. I keep getting this broken view, missing the title, can't toggle visual vs. code, big blank area, basically unusable. Oddly this bad rendering comes and goes too.

@podfeet It's definitely not caused by WordPress core. First try to clean your local browser cache (or a different browser or incognito mode).
If that doesn't help try to disable plugins or switching themes to find out if there's a conflict. You can safely do that by using the Troubleshooting plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/troubleshooting/) so your visitors won't notice.
@JosKleverWebSupport Thanks for the ideas. I don't suspect plugins (because I haven't touched them lately) but I did change two things at the same time. I upgraded to WordPress 7.0.2 on the same day that I enabled some bot-battling tools in Cloudflare. I'm still tuning those filters to fix some image rendering problems (being blocked) so maybe that contributed to this problem? It's weird, though, that it heals and breaks and heals again.
@podfeet I don't use Cloudflare, so I'm not sure about that.
Even if you didn't touch the plugins, ther might be one, that hasn't been updated for a while and is incompatible now. So it's good to check it and as soon as you find the component that is involved, you're a step closer to the solution.
Also check the browser console for errors and maybe even the PHP error log, but this looks more like a javascript conflict, so that would be the console. Maybe a script is blocked by Cloudflare now?
@JosKleverWebSupport Perhaps, and the intermittency could be part of rate limiting (sometimes not being over the limit). I forgot to mention that I did erase browser cache and tried on two different browsers, and another author on my site experienced it as well (Including the auto-healing/breaking)
@podfeet are you using classic editor? That might be the issue
