Interessant. Die Anzahl der Arten gibt ja im Prinzip die Zahl der besetzten Nischen wieder. Bzw. wie flexibel eine Klasse von Tieren dabei ist, sich an verschiedene Ökosysteme anzupassen.
Wie "schlau" von einer der demnach einer eher unflexibleren Klasse angehörenden Art, ihr eigenes Ökosystem mittelfristig großflächig unbewohnbar zu machen.

We've released v.1.5.0 of our Matrix sign-up moderation bot for Mastodon recently, which we now consider feature-complete.
Latest changes (next to some under-the-hood fixes) add validation of the signup email with usercheck.com (an online service with a free tier), or reacher/check-if-email-exists (self-hosted). Both can be used at the same time as well.

We are planning to release new Mastodon security updates for versions 4.4, 4.5, 4.6 and nightly this Monday, Jul 27, at around 14:00 UTC.
It solves two major security issues.
