I have to pay increasing attention to what my phone does to pictures it takes. For example, my new Motorola phone includes a super zoom feature that actually uses generative AI to fill in details as it crops in! I turned it off, but others might not notice and upload such digitally created images to iNaturalist, where they'd actually impact scientific research

I had long covid and my taste was about 70% gone for a long time. Then I read a few articles on taking low doses of vitamin A and it worked. Most of taste returned. Unfortunately I had to stop because it was interfering with my pain meds. And even after I stopped a lot of my taste remained.
Caution: taking too much vitamin A is dangerous so check with pharmacist for the right dosage.

Ah, I remember years ago there being some Windows LPE when connecting Razer USB devices. (Driver installation included a GUI-based coinstaller that ran with privileges). I made a raspberry pi script to enumerate known VID/PID combos to see if other devices behaved similar (some did!).

Disturbing to see the same thing happen with HDMI devices. 😬

(Assuming that's what's actually happening here, and not that somebody plugged the LG monitor USB connection in)

@mattblaze I’ve got the first Ultra as well and was a little annoyed it won’t get the next updates. But the software updates on the watch has never been as big a deal for me as the hardware updates. I’ll just stick with this until the battery doesn’t make it through the day, or a compelling new hardware feature comes out.

My daughter’s Series 3 finally died - the screen literally popped off because of a swollen battery. I think we got that used / refurb in 2019, so 7+ years isn’t unheard of.
