They're coming to take me away, hahaa, hehee, hohoo. 😵💫 Kirjasyksy on siinä pisteessä, että mulla on viikon sisään kuusi junamatkaa, kaksi laivamatkaa ja kaksi bussimatkaa, kolmet illalliset ja yksi cocktail-tilaisuus. Yhdestä cocktail-tilaisuudesta jouduin kieltäytymään, koska se olisi teettänyt kaksi junamatkaa lisää ja arvelin ettei ehkä jaksu riittäisi enää siihen.😳 Onneksi tää ei ole aina tämmöistä, loka-marraskuussa vaan.
Niin juu tähän liittyen, ohjelmani Hgin kirjamessuilla on tänä vuonna mukavan napakka: olen paikalla torstaina! Klo 11.30-12 KirjaKalliolla puhutaan Kuunkehästä ja sen jälkeen heti mut voi yhyttää Otavan signeerauspisteeltä. 😊
Tuolla blogipostauksessa pientä fiilistelyä siitä, että tämä saattaa olla viimeinen kerta, kun puhun kirjamessulavoilla Royaumen aikakirjoista. Kyllähän se vähän sydämestä ottaa. 💔

Utter fuckwit passenger at Sloterdijk Metro. He walks through the gate from the lift, pushing his bike. Then stops in the middle of the gate to read the signs. I ask him to keep moving so I can go through the gate, and he gives me a torrent of swear words. Fuckwit.
@quixoticgeek For trips to Amsterdam, which is plagued by slow-moving pedestrians, I memorised the Dutch translation of the phrase "feel free to come to a complete halt unexpectedly in this narrow high-traffic area" so that I could shout it at the pedestrians concerned.
I learnt two things:
1. The pedestrians coming to a complete stop in narrow high-traffic areas were most often from the USA and didn't understand Dutch;
2. The first two words of the phrase, "U kunt", were perfectly sufficient.
Well let's hope this racist act generates greater publicity for the missing history.

@tstruthers @pluralistic i don't know why and it's almost unbelievable, but austrian.com (star alliance!) keeps showing stable prices over weeks, no matter how often you look it up from the same IP+device. it's almost an uncanny feeling, there must be something wrong with the world if an airline doesn't try to screw you online.
