A Guppe group is created automatically the first time you use it in an @ mention, for example:

All feedbacks welcome! It will likely requires several iterations but we're quite satisfied from the result so far, also this UX offers a good way to merge topics and groups together quite nicely

We also updated the website at https://bonfirenetworks.org which hopefully explains the project a bit better 😅

While the playground (an older test instance) was about experimenting with the UX and all the different features and extensions in the works, the campground only has the core and social extensions enabled while we focus on stabilising them (incl. federation) before a v1.0 release 🔥

@lanodan Thanks for notifying us, looking into this now! Bonfire is not yet ready to federate and we enabled it temporarily for testing. We'll add a user agent as well.
