Lawrence Lazare is a legally blind photographer pursuing a BFA in Studio Art at the University of West Florida. His career spanned music management and 25 years in product development for media companies, where he built AI search tools and holds two patents. After losing his central vision to Stargardt's disease in 2020, he returned to college focusing on film photography. His work has shown in museums and galleries across Michigan, Florida, and New Orleans.
