I'm a guitarist and educator. My day job is as a professor at a smallish Christian liberal-arts university where I teach guitar, ear training, improvisation, and music technology. Outside of music, I read a lot about technology and culture, some fiction, and I'm a hobbyist handtool woodworker. I also have three small children with whom I do a lot of bike riding.

I'm a hillbilly punk musichead and sex enthusiast writing about music, sociopolitical issues, and fucking. I use the word "fuck" a lot, and my blogs are written for an adult audience. I was a kid when the Internet was created, and I grew up with unprecedented access to porn and erotic fiction. Now I daydream about sex and a worldwide labor movement that puts a stop to this death machine. I want people to fuck and do drugs—or do drugs and fuck, whatever floats your boat—create and enjoy art, and stop killing each other and every-fucking-thing. I'm ruined. Thank goodness.
