Interests include tech, audio production, crafting and meteorology. I am politically left of center and religiously agnostic. I am totally blind from birth from microphthalmia and have prosthetic eyes. I was a medical transcriptionist for over 25 years and remain interested in medicine. I am curious and somewhat pessimistic. The three things that worry me most are political/religious extremism, economic and social inequality and the increasing loss of trust in each other.

During bad depression episodes I delete all my posts and comments. And sometimes my Mastodon account. So I've stopped posting and I hardly ever comment. But Mastodon is still a peaceful place to be, so I keep coming back to look at the flowers and the dogs.
