Der Arbeitskreis "Offene Archive" im Verband deutscher Archivarinnen und Archivare e. V. (VdA) setzt sich u. a. ein für Digitalität in Archiven, Partizipation und Vernetzung, Offenheit und Dialog mit potentiellen NutzerInnen, Diversität und Barrierefreiheit (weiteres siehe unsere Vorstellung auf der Website des VdA).
Wir betreiben den Blog Archive 2.0 und veranstalten etwa zweijährlich die Konferenz "Offene Archive".
