I like em all but the Victorian English option will absolutely have their head spinning. 😁

I was going to try to be adventurous and eat at an outdoor bar by the beach off of A1A but it was too enclosed w/too few people. I need s critical mass. I tried to get to Ocean Deck where I've been before but it's Biktoberfest and crazy. Gotta admit I like a guy on a bike but prefer a more controlled environment. Lols. Back to my stomping grounds on the speedway and the best Vietnamese restaurant in Daytona. I feel good though--clean air and a little adventure. Alt txt coming up....

@MargaretSefton Whenever I see mentions of A1A, I can't help but pull this one up...

Mirrorshades are popular around me, wtf.
Anthropic bans ‘abusive or cruel behavior’ toward Claude

Not to put too fine a point on it...
Anthropic can suck me.
Given their behavior/actions, just thoroughly and completely suck me.

Date night. And "Vision Quest" was surprisingly good. Then "Raising Arizona", and it was, mmmm, okay. Then "Desperately Seeking Susan", and it was, mmmm, also okay, ish.
So I needed a sure thing.
"A Fish Called Wanda".
@GeePawHill It’s been too long since I’ve seen “A Fish Called Wanda.” I should remedy that.
“Raising Arizona” has funny-shaped balloons, if you think round is funny.
We have to get past the “does it work” to get to the “is it worth the tradeoffs” part of the argument; that’s where we move the needle. Meat tastes good. Agreed! How important is that pleasure in your life? What if you made meat a special occasion thing? Cars are required to live the life I want. True! So how can we mitigate the harm? Could you bike to work when the weather’s nice? And so on. We do this all the time everywhere, why not with AI? (2/2)
@jacob the more I stare at this argument the harder I find it to parse, because it seems to take accelerationsim as a given? I’m probably very confused 😅
Hate having a black cat during Halloween, have to basically lock him up at night just in case until the date passes by.
@emmadavidson hope you found Angertainment as interesting as I did.
@Sminney oh, I could have said hello! Ed Coper has given me hope that talking with people on the internet isn’t ruined forever

Top’s entire antidemocratic philosophy is either politically naive or politically motivated.
I was recently discussing this democratic anomaly with a Top supporter saying as a Green supporter it’s ridiculous to think Top wouldn’t align with the party that supposedly shares some similar environmental policies.
The Top supporter then told me that if I wasn’t prepared to vote Top then the only way to prevent Top returning Luxon and associates to power was to abandon the Greens and vote Labour to ensure they beat National.
I think the Top supporter might’ve accidentally said the quiet part out loud.
✅✅💚
is it? ...that makes me happy 🙂
I have my doubts though - what makes you so sure?
For example, the AI industry is a loss leader and before that it qas web3/crypto and so on.
Every new hype (whatever it is) just repeats that.
Its loans that never have to get paid back, taken out by the billionaire class to fund their corporate projects and hypes ...and life gets more expensive for the rest of us.
you dont agree?
or you think it will stop or get better?
it rather feels unhinged now

#OpenRGB 1.1 has been released! This is a bugfix release intended to fix some of the issues caught in 1.0. Some minor device additions to existing controllers, but the scope was intentionally kept small to focus on fixing the rough edges. Release notes on Codeberg here:
https://codeberg.org/OpenRGB/OpenRGB/releases/tag/release_1.1
Additionally, the OpenRGB Effects Plugin has a 1.1 bugfix release and the OpenRGB Skin Plugin received a 1.0 release, updating it for OpenRGB 1.x compatibility.
