Don't be put off by the clumsy pilot episode, Almost Human s01e02 (2013) isn't bad.

It's pretty gritty and rough. With little bits of comedy. I love the "dead" ghost who wants to deliver messages. And you never see species interact.

@strypey It's a pretty good series. Great cast. Wish it at least had books continuing the story.
