Something very different today, the Casio Duro
@thomasfuchs would go for more subdued bezel colors but otherwise I like it.

It's very important you get the one with the Marlin. The others are, well, without a Marlin.

@logorok @thomasfuchs I have a couple nice watches still which I really like and yet don't wear often enough, no need for another just yet... I'm a sucker for the mechanical skeleton watches where I can stare mesmerized at their movements and hear them tick.
@earthshine @logorok those are very cool of course
@earthshine yeah they have a bunch of variations
@earthshine just don’t get the small version (bad reviews) and it is a pretty big watch so not suitable for all wrists
@thomasfuchs Nice! Does the bezel rotate or is it purely decorative?
@bremner yup rotates and clicks and crown screws down, you can actually use it for diving should you want to (I don’t)
@thomasfuchs I used to dive with mine, but these days I have too many other gadgets that both make it redundant and get in the way of strapping on a watch. For actual diving I much prefer "bungee mounts" that stretch and let me pull something onto my (wet suited) arm, but that exceeds even my dorky tolerance for non-diving wear.
Basically Rolex looks for a hundredth of the price lol ($70–$80)
@thomasfuchs Very nice! I’ve got the green version
