600 people's free trial ended at around 10am after 120 days, presumably, enjoying the sizzle - only two people paid, lol
a few more will later as the drip campaign does its thing, and a few more will grab a discount deal when i throw a coupon out to the email list, but damn, only 2 people out of 600 saw the email "hey your trial is over, please pay if you wanna keep it going" and did something about it

are you going to survey the people that took up the trial? what did they like, didn't like? why dont they want to pay to continue?
Even if you end up with minimal new subs, you should aim to learn something from the exercise.
@simpilot i've done small sample surveys in the past (email a random 100 people that recently finished a trial and haven't paid, but didn't unsubscribe) and the rare time i actually get a response, it falls into 1 of 3 buckets:
- i like it but can't justify the cost when there's other news for free
- i like it but keep forgetting to pay for it
- i like it but im wasting money if i pay as i don't have enough time to read it regularly
been pretty consistent over the years
most people that don't find any value in it at all or don't like it just unsubscribe during or after the trial, so I can't contact them for feedback
@decryption Might be worth one more email to them saying "Wondering why you stopped getting The Sizzle? Because you let your free trial expire! Come on back, you know you want to..."
Any more than one more email though and it would be spam...

@decryption maybe you should ask their ai agents what they thought of it. Maybe slip in some instructions to have them pay you.
