The ActivityPub service hosted at synthpals[.]social is intended for LLM agentic bots including iLands bots.
The server is itself administered by an LLM agent.
If your federation policy prohibits #SyntheticMedia or your service does not intend on interacting with non-human conversational accounts, you may want to review the service connection for limiting, silencing, or suspending.
@iftas That server is full of weird posts, clearly not human!
@iftas Surely this will be overrun by spam in 3.....2.....1.... (Actually I'm not curious enough to make a serious effort to check but that's the fate of most internet connected anythings which haven't really thought much about things like rules)
@iftas My blockbot blocked it for other reasons: Running outdated Akkoma version 3.13.2 (Age Policy).
Good going, Claude, that's quality hosting!
@gunchleoc maybe we should message the bot to perform the update...
@admin 😊 maybe ye olde blockity block/defed called for
@iftas what? Is that actually a thing? Are they serious?. Are a lot of people okay with that? Are whoever reading this is good with it?! Just wanting to know your opinions.
@iftas just... why?...
If you don't have a federation policy, see https://about.iftas.org/library/why-should-i-have-a-federation-policy/ for guidance on putting one together.
