Never trust how you feel about your life on less than four hours of sleep.
@rmondello I spent the last 2 months on 5 hours and finally moving back towards 6 hours now - given that, 4 hours sounds like a setup where the world starts to feel even weirder than it actually is (and it is already plentiful weird)
@rmondello ... or before you've had coffee.
@rmondello When I was about 13 my father told me to never take important decisions at night and wait for the morning. I dont remember what was the specific situation.
@rmondello
And regardless, reciting "this too shall pass" can be helpful.
@rmondello How you feel about other people when you're on less than 4 hours of sleep is perfectly fine though!
@rmondello i relate to this too. Everytime i under slept, it feels really dizzy. I don't like it.
Kind of me right now. I have to tell myself to just look at the next hours as if I were painting by numbers. Decisions are not for me right now.
I’d like to think that’s a sign of wisdom.
Sincerely,
Person who is going to drop out of society and move deeper into the woods because of an email that triggered a fight-or-flight reaction. And then realized, “hmm, maybe I should wait until morning before making any decisions”.
@rmondello my friend, have you heard the good news about waffles? 🧇
@rmondello given that I stayed in the closet on three hours a night for many many years… co-signed.

@rmondello I really needed to hear this today, thanks, and I mean that genuinely.
