I've known about your work since the Userland days when my company (STI, later acquired by Novell) was evaluating Frontier.
Never got to say hi to you when I was later at Apple, even though we were in the same room at Infinite Loop during the Copland days when you stood up to the bully Wayne Meretsky. I was a new hire and quite timid at the time 🙂
@rameshgupta -- nice story, but i don't remember being at infinite loop and have no recollection of the event you mention.
but apple people being assholes is something i do remember. ;-)

That was an invitation-only event for Apple developers when the ill-fated Copland was still taking shape. The confrontation left a profound impression on me. I had never met you personally before, and my Apple colleagues later identified the person as you.
It could be my mistake, but if you were there and have forgotten about it, I'm still happy for you. Glad that we cleared this up!
so tell me more -- copland was a disaster, iirc. also thought the company got intimidated by the press too easily. they didn't understand what they had on the web, and didn't understand the web enough so you could explain it to them.
