today a friend of a friend who met me like, at most, a handful of times 20 years so recognized me. i was just like, how??? i have different hair…different glasses…I'm 20 years older…I went on testosterone 10 years ago for Christ's sake…
in hindsight it's the nose. there is only one little, vaguely ethnic-looking person on planet earth (or at least in Toronto) with such a monumentally massive schnoz. if i wanted no one to recognize me i should have gotten a nose job. .אוי געוואלט
i used to think it made me look unfeminine. which might be true but it doesn't make me look masculine either. it makes me look like Woodstock from Peanuts that's what it does
