@kithrup If it’s an original bottle, circa 1920, then it’s actually medium-level radwaste at this point and needs to be disposed of securely. (Half-life of the main isotope is 1600 years, so it won’t have decayed significantly, and those things were banned in 1920 after causing multiple deaths and illnesses.)

@cstross @kithrup My guess is it's surely an original bottle because making a replica would be too much effort for someone like this; but I'd bet he drank from it a couple times for the camera and never again. Probably didn't follow the directions to leave the water in overnight so it gets properly irradiated either.

@cstross The fact he's drinking out of the top of a massive container rather than using the tap on the side says a lot, I think. Also reminds me of the carpenter who fitted insulation in our house insisting that hydrogen water was going to make him live forever.
