@cstross Given he can influence people at his level, and more possibly below that, the observation is about how low is the intelligence level of followers. Very impressive, average human intelligence is vastly overestimated. Especially when rated above fungi.
@cstross Could he be given extra points for the Darwin Award, because as an influencer he’s dragging not just himself but lots of others down with him?
Although… perhaps it’s better not to, otherwise it’ll become the next trend on TikTok specifically because of those points…

Another *amazing* story that I heard was the people who sued the telephone provider for erecting a 5G tower nearby. They stood up in court and told the judge how they were having sleepless nights and the radio wasn't working properly and hearing voices and getting shocks of kitchenware and and and. Comes the turn of the provider, who just stood up and said "your honour, the tower is built but isn't yet in use".
@econads @Walrus @hastur @cstross I've read a few times that this was fairly common with some mobile providers – build a tower, wait for complaints to come in, document that the issues predate the use of the tower, then turn it on, while having evidence that the issues couldn't be caused by the tower's operation.

I actually was thinking he'd just faked it, and was pretending with a mocked up one, but from watching the video on other subjects, I think he really just is that crazy.
He's also way worse than just a weird 'health' guy, he goes heavily into a lot of other stuff ( I would not recommend watching his videos, he has whole new euphemisms, but talking wistfully of 'mother Germany ' and how it's not in its proper place should give a clue).
