I see that we're all having a debate about the soul-nature of anarchism despite the fact that 95% of the people involved here think anarchism is the title of an unreleased Sex Pistols album...
this seems productive.

@AnarchoNinaWrites Oh no, not that at all. I sprung fully formed this morning from a cabbage head and all of my opinions today are new and uninfluenced by the vulgar discourse 😜 I am naive and pure of any meta discussions :)
@quietmarc Lol, well I dunno that you can be blamed for all of this (and btw I did read your thread and had no problem with it? Just, to be clear).
We do sure seem to like talking a lot about who is and isn't a real anarchist despite us not having a members association by definition.
Seems you know, not all that productive. But I promise Marc, I did not mean you.
That having been said, if I had to guess it went something like this:
A) someone who is not an anarchist and knows nothing about anarchism said something VERY stupid about anarchism.
B) Most of the Fedi's anarchists then took this as an opportunity to do the cherished ancestral hobby of online anarchists - going after each other for insufficient radicalism
Just think it might be a bit early for purging the Mensheviks.
I feel like this has to be one of those situations on social media where I'm seeing the meta aftermath of a discussion, and not the origin point.
