We, the protesters, are calling for a law to to regulate the housing situation and speculation

To begin with, these protests are demonstrating how street protests have the power to bring about radical change. For example, getting a bill debated in parliament in less than a week.
But also in public debate, by framing concepts such as ‘tenants’ union’ and ‘rent strike’ as desirable futures, and ‘vulture funds’ and ‘rentiers’ as undesirable realities.
