@jonassmith funny, but I understand it as "it's not our fault, pages just vanish, there's nothing we can do about it."
I prefer that kind of page that lists the different possible reasons - though it's less fun. (Though of course a serious PID policy should help providing more precise reasons to the user about the unavailability of the page.)
