Hmm, it was cheaper to order stuff for delivery from the local big box retailer than drive down there (due to gas prices). A wee bit further, and through bicycle unfriendly territory, than I would like for shopping via bicycle. (curse those freeway overpasses and massive fast roads... bicycle unfriendly). 🤷

@inquiline @SRLevine I'd never do it. I guess some of the "real cyclists" do, and particular as a group. But.. not me.
@ai6yr There is a freeway overpass I end up on sometimes (not my usual crossings that are basically normal roads, but a real overpass) that actually isn't terrible because the shoulder is absurdly wide. Cars always seem very surprised that I'm there so I try to only ever take that route when it's light out, but I have far more room there than in some of the "bike gutters" on slower streets. Next time you take the one in question in a car drive slowly and check it out?
