I'm on my way home from the EHRI Seminar "Victims. Perpetrators. Data. Entity, Identity, and Documentation in Holocaust Research and Remembrance" which took place in St. Pölten in Austria. Three days of intensive discussion including about projects which are still running or even planned.

My colleague Alexander and I presented our project to generate person entities for the first time in Arolsen. So far we've c.60 million names in our database. But no entry is connected to another one even it is about the same person. We started with the collection of Dachau and continued with Buchenwald as these two concentration camps are those where a lot of documents have been preserved.
