Just spoke to a man who owed me several hundred dollars about the horrors of AI for an hour or so.
He's a nice guy, and I like him on a personal level.
I just wish he'd stop owing me money or asking me about AI.

Nah, he was very much in the anti-ai camp, but from the "I've been listening to the EA people tell me how powerful AI is" angle.
He's an ex-narc who has a lot of experience on the surveillance side of policing and left because he realized he was serving a machine that did significantly more harm than good.
He's spent at least part of the time since then trying to clean up behind himself and make amends for the damage he did as a cop, and he (rightly) sees AI as a playground for corrupt policing.
But I still don't want to talk about it.
@ajroach42 I'd prefer he ask you about AI than a fan of it.
