I invite you to consider looking into becoming a PA or NA. A lifelong chronic illness has meant exposure to & dealing with many doctors, most of whom were ok or even good. In the past few years PAs have appeared, and every one of them that I’ve encountered has been A+. What I’ve seen of you here suggests to me that you would be good at that role.

@farah Money is important. But it shouldn't be the 'only' thing. This is how burn outs are built.
It's a difficult challenge. One I struggle with too.
And to be honest, the money has been sucked out of medicine for the most part. Student debt and insurance have squeezed that well dry.

I was supposed to take bio and chemistry in HS.
Hated the chemistry teacher. Highkey.
Convinced them to let me keep taking bio.
Graduated.
I am very behind. The job they recently ate me up for, based on my "reputation" is in health care, I won't kill anyone with my decisions, but it is intimidating.
My point, I think, is 'do you', 'keep doing you.' Don't doubt yourself. And when you see others who are telling you to push on, absolutely push on.
